Extension of the range of MITASU fluids for robotic transmissions03 June 2024
It has been a little over three years since the first fluid for robotic transmissions appeared in the MITASU OIL range. Today we present two more products that allow us to cover most of the markets for working fluids for the latest generation of robots. It must be admitted that if five years ago, when we heard the phrase "robotized transmission", it was associated with cars from Europe first and foremost. In the current reality, when we say "a car with a robotized transmission", in almost half of the cases we are talking about vehicles from... China. Yes, Chinese cars are poorly represented in the markets of the European Union and especially the USA, however, in the Asia-Pacific region they are no longer a rarity. Understanding that their transmissions, in most cases, are licensed copies, or simply clones of units from such manufacturers as Getrag or BorgWarner, we are no longer surprised that the global trend to reduce the viscosity of transmission oils and fluids has affected Chinese cars, which are just making their way into the world market. Therefore, the same DCTF (Dual Clutch Transmission Fluid) may be required both when servicing, for example, a Mercedes-Benz A-Class or BMW 1-Series, and when replacing fluid in the transmission of a Chery Tiggo 7 or Haval DaGou (Dargo).
