Mitasu’s latest transmission oils – better fuel efficiency and wear protection

1 November 2018

With more new cars appearing on the market and the geography of Mitasu Oil sales expanding, the Mitasu transmission oil range has been supplemented with three new products featuring improved low-temperature characteristics and high fuel efficiency.

Global car manufacturers have long set their sights on reducing fuel consumption and harmful emissions into the atmosphere. Along with the advancement in engines and transmissions, improved aerodynamic efficiency of car design, and the use of tyres with reduced rolling resistance, the other way to improve fuel efficiency in modern cars is to use lower viscosity oils and liquids. Concurrently, amid a trend towards greater power and torque in the latest power units, there is a growing demand for lubricants with thermal stability and anti-wear properties.

MITASU OIL CORPORATION has introduced new products that meet and in some ways exceed the requirements for the latest transmission oils. We shall look into them in more detail.

MJ-415. MITASU LX GEAR OIL GL-5 75W-85 LSD 100% Synthetic is a fully synthetic low-viscosity transmission oil formulated with a modern high-tech additive package that meets TOYOTA and MERCEDES-BENZ OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) standards. Meeting the requirements of the latest transmissions, including those equipped with a Limited Slip Differential, it provides stable performance properties at temperatures as low as -42° C.

MJ-420. MITASU ULTRA LV GEAR OIL GL-4 75W Synthetic Tech is an ultra-low viscosity transmission oil based on synthetic technology and a modern additive package that is safe for non-ferrous metals and alloys. The product is designed for use in the latest mechanical (manual and robotic) gearboxes, transfer gearboxes and other units where the manufacturer recommends oil with viscosities of SAE 75W and API GL-4, and has exceptional fluidity at ambient temperatures as low as -42 °C

MJ-441. MITASU FE GEAR OIL GL-4/5 75W-80 Synthetic Blended is a multipurpose, semi-synthetic, low-viscosity gear oil formulated with a synthetic base oil and a well-balanced additive package that is safe for non-ferrous metals and alloys. Compliant with API GL-4 and GL-5 standards, it can be used both in medium and heavy-load mechanical (manual and robotic) transmissions, differentials, and transfer gearboxes, steering mechanisms and other units where the manufacturer recommends oil with a viscosity of SAE 75W-80. The product provides stable performance at temperatures as low as -42 °C.

New products by MITASU OIL CORPORATION meet a wide range of manufacturer requirements, and provide better wear protection to modern transmissions and higher fuel efficiency.
